PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing rod capable of injecting a sufficient amount of an adhesive into a space between the outer periphery of the fishing rod and a cylindrical member without moving even when a force is applied to the cylindrical member. SOLUTION: This fishing rod is obtained by integrally forming a padding part 1b in a suitable place at the rear of a rod butt 1 by winding of a prepreg sheet and thermosetting treatment, forming a through-hole 2a into which the outer periphery of the padding part 1b can be fitted in a cylindrical member 2 and further forming a reel leg carrying part 2b, a fixed hood 2c and a groove 2d on the outer periphery, a recessed part 2e on the rear side of the reel leg carrying part 2b, square holes 2f and 2g and an injecting port 2h for an adhesive 10 in the front and rear of the recessed part 2e and is capable of injecting the adhesive 10 into a gap partαformed of a gap between the through-hole 2a of the cylindrical member 2 and the outer periphery 1a of the rod butt 1, fixing the cylindrical member 2, dropping a pawl receiver 4 into the recessed part 2e, fixing the pawl receiver 4 and discharging air in the gap partαfrom an air venting partβformed of a fitting gap between the through-hole 2a and the padding part 1b or the through-hole 2a and a wound synthetic resin tape 11.
