The present invention provides an indoor air purifying device utilizing a plant. The indoor air purifying device comprises: a body (12) closed excluding a front part in which a plant is disposed; a water tank (14) disposed in a lower side of the body (12); a pump (16) for pumping water of the water tank (14); a vertical pipe (11) and a horizontal pipe (13) for supplying pumped water to a side of an uppermost external case (18); a hose (15) for supplying water from the horizontal pipe (13) to the uppermost external case (18); a ventilating slit (17) formed on an upper surface or an upper end front surface of the body (12); a ventilating fan (17) installed in a lower side or a rear part of the ventilating slit (17); a filter (27) installed in a rear end of the ventilating fan (17); an external case (18) horizontally and/or vertically installed in at least two layers in an open part in an upper side of the water tank (14) on the front surface of the body (12), having a water discharging unit upwardly and downwardly protruding on the inner lower surface thereof, having a water feeding unit formed on the upper surface thereof, and a ventilating hole formed in the rear surface thereof; and an internal case (20) fitted to and installed on the external case (18), having a plant planted therein by a soil, having a ventilating hole formed in the rear surface thereof, having an absorber penetrating and supporting unit (20 g) formed on the rear surface thereof, and supplying water supplied to the lower surface of the external case (18) to the soil through osmotic pressure by means of an absorber installed through the absorber penetrating and supporting unit (20 g). According to the present invention, an optimal air purifying function can be performed. |
