The wood-pulp used in the growing medium is recycled from used absorption products, e.g. incontinence pads, nappies, paper tissues, etc. The reclaimed wood-pulp is mixed with conventional growing tilth materials, such as clay granules, sand, turf, compost, etc. The mixture is encased in a plastic sac. The sac is pierced to form a regular pattern of holes for drainage and for the plants to be inserted. |
