PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable connection of photovoltaic element which are light in reliability and are easily automatized, with each other, by a method wherein a medium to absorb light of a specified wavelength is provided on the electrical connection parts of the elements with each other. SOLUTION: Solid lasers even among lasers of wavelengths longer than 0.4 μm specially can easily obtain a high-output laser beam at high efficiency in comparison with a gas laser, and the solid lasers can be miniaturized. Moreover, a YAG laser even among the solid lasers specially can transmit a laser beam through an optical fiber and has such excellent characteristics as the YAG laser can perform a treatment, such as welding, at places apart from a laser oscillator. There, by providing a medium, which absorbs more than 10% of a laser beam, on the welding surfaces of photovoltaic elements, a defective welding is reduced and it is made possible to perform a stable laser welding. In particular, as the medium, it is preferable that the medium has more than 10% of the absorption factor of light at a wavelength range of 0.4 to 0.2 μm, which is that of the solid lasers. |
