<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a thin-wall light-weight FRP-made spliced pole having a sufficiently strong strength, even under snow fall condition, strong wind blowing condition, etc. SOLUTION: The horizontal stresses applied to the root of a wire supporting arm 2, when a wire 7 is swung by a wind is received by means of a disk 21 which is a first reinforcing section for preventing the deformation and breakage of an FRP-made spliced pole 1. In addition, the horizontal stress applied to the front end of the arm 2 due to a downward load caused by fallen snow on the wire 7 or arm 2, the swinging of he wire 7 by a wind, and so on, through a vertically installing piece 42 is received via another disk 31, which is a second reinforcing section for preventing the deformation and breakage of the pole 1. Then, if the occurrence of such a trouble that the durability of the pole 1 is deteriorated can be eliminated, even when excessively strong horizontal stresses is concentrated to either one of the disks 21 and 31 over a long period due to winds, fallen snow, etc., because the bending stress and deforming stress of one disk 21 or 31 are received by a pole 51 and by the other disk 31 or 21.</p> |
