发明名称 INK-JET HEAD WITH PROTECTING LAYER PROVIDED AT JUNCTION FACE OF NOZZLE PLATE AND MANUFACTURE THEREOF
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent problems such as ink leakage, etc., by setting a protecting layer which is connected to a piezoelectric element and forms at least a part of a nozzle junction face and separating at least the piezoelectric element from the nozzle junction face by the protecting layer. SOLUTION: A pressure chamber plate 10 having a desired count of pressure chambers 12 and introduction paths 14 and a common ink chamber 16 is set to a glass plate of a nearly rectangular parallelopiped. An end face 40a of a resin film and a protecting layer 50 are aligned at a nozzle unite face 60 of the pressure chamber plate 10 where a face 30a of a nozzle plate 30 is united. The protecting layer 50 is a thermosetting epoxy-series adhesive material of a schematically rectangular parallelopiped and connected by a front face 20a of a piezoelectric element 20 (external electrode 26) and a face 50b. The protecting layer 50 separates the piezoelectric element 20 from the nozzle unite face 60 by 50μm or so. Accordingly, the problem is solved that the ink leaking from the pressure chamber 12 invades the piezoelectric element 20 thereby shortcircuiting internal electrodes 22, 24.
