PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the loss of data in advance by counting the frequency of occurrence of an event being a sign of fault occurrence, to automatically detect that the event being a sign of fault occurrence is generated in an information storage part. SOLUTION: The frequency in occurrence of a write/read error and that of a write/read retry are counted in a storage part error accumulation table as events being signs of fatal fault occurrence in HDD devices 4A and 4B in store computers 1A and 1B. The frequency of occurrence of a write/read error is also counted as an event being a sign of fatal occurrence in a D-RAM. For example, if there is a difference between the current accumulated value of the HDD error and the preceding one in the store computer 1A and the current accumulated value exceeds a preliminarily set alarm total frequency, a fault occurrence prevention report message of the HDD device 4A is automatically transmitted from the store computer 1A to a host computer 7. |
