PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a thermoplastic resin molded product of superior coating film appearance for coating the surface of the thermoplastic resin molded product with a coating agent in a mold. SOLUTION: A thermoplastic resin molding material colored in given colors is molded in a cavity formed of a movable mold and a fixed mold by the injection molding method or the injection compression molding method, and a coating agent is injected between a molded product thus formed and a mold inner wall, and the coated molded product is taken out from the mold after the coating agent is cured. The coating agent contains (A) at least one kind of a 100 pts.wt. of oligomer having at least two (meth)acrylate groups or unsaturated polyester resin, (B) a 20-200 pts.wt. ethylenic unsaturated monomer, (C) a 0.1-25 pts.wt. scaling pigment of 5-150μm average particle diameter and 1.5-100 aspect ratio and (D) a 0.5-15 pts.wt. polymerization initiator, and the masking rate is 0.6 or smaller when the coating amount is 1 ml/100 cm<2> . |
