PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the water resistance and the moisture resistance of a printed image formed by forming a resin component which constitutes at least, a monolayer ink receiving layer, of a hydrophilic resin having a specific amino group in a molecule, on ant least, one of the faces of a base material sheet. SOLUTION: An ion bond is formed between a dye molecule and resin with a tertiary amino group to be introduced into the resin molecule of a hydrophilic resin. As a result, the fixing property of a dye and the water resistance of an image to be formed are enhanced. The resin to be used in this case, is hydrophilic but is water-insoluble, and many hydrophobic parts are present in the molecule of the resin. After forming an ionic bond between the tertiary amino group of the resin and the dye, the hydrophobic parts of the resin encircle the ionic bond and the water resistance of the image to be formed is improved compared to a prior art. It is considered that the described functions are upgrading the water resistance of the image to be formed. |
