PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dielectric porcelain composition having a specific dielectric constant of >=60, a Q value of >=2,500 (as a f.Q value), and a resonance frequency temperature coefficient of ±20 ppm/ deg.C or less, capable of being sintered at a temperature of <=950 deg.C, capable of minimizing the diffusion quantity of Ag during sintering, when brought into contact with Ag and sintered, and capable of producing an inexpensive dielectric porcelain. SOLUTION: This dielectric porcelain composition comprises 100 pts.wt. of a main component expressed by the formula: xBaO.yNd2 O3 .zTiO2 .uPbO.vBi2 O3 [0.086<(x)<0.178, 0.092<(y)<0.168, 0.641<(z)<0.726, 0.021<(u)<0.082, 0.003<(v)<0.05, and (x)+(y)+(z)+(u)+(v)=1], and 1-3 pts.wt. of CuO, 1-5 pts.wt. of ZnO, 0. 6-1.4 pts.wt. of B2 O3 , and 2-5 pts.wt. of GeO2 and SiO2 as sub- components, wherein the content of ZnO is larger than the content of CuO, and the ratio of GeO2 and SiO2 is expressed by the inequality: 0.1<=SiO2 /(GeO2 + SiO2 )<0. 9. |
