PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor, having a consumables decision function that decides whether or not various kinds of consumables are appropriate, such as recording papers and toner used for information processors such as facsimile equipment or a printer device. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with a consumables decision part 1 that can decide a specific code added on a toner cartridge by an invisible light ink. When the consumables decision part 1 is unable to read and specific code, a main control part 7 decides that the toner cartridge is in abnormal state. At the same time, a display signal to the effect that the toner cartridge is in an abnormal state is transmitted to a control part 6 and the facsimile equipment is made to be transitted to the state in which is in capable of being operated. Thus, since toners other than the ones specified normally cannot be used, nonconformities such as thin-out of printed letters or crushed printed letters become hard to occur. |
