<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new hybridoma having ability to produce an antibody useful for diagnosis and treatment, etc., of hyperlipemia and arteriosclerosis by fusing a lymphocyte obtained by immunizing a peptide derived from apo-B-48 into a mammal with a myeloma cell. SOLUTION: This new hybridoma is obtained by fusing a lymphocyte obtained by immunizing a peptide derived from apo-B-48 into a mammal with a myeloma cell. The hybridoma has ability to produce a monoclonal antibody specifically recognizing apo B-48 which is a kind of apoprotein which is a protein constituting lipoprotein closely related to hyperlipemia and the antibody is used for measurement, etc., of apoprotein and useful for diagnosis and treatment, etc., of hyperlipemia and arteriosclerosis. The hybridoma is obtained by binding C terminal peptide of apo B-48 to haemocyanin, etc., immunizing the peptide into a mammal such as mouse, collecting a spleen cell after final immunity, fusing the spleen cell with myeloma cell, selecting antiapo B-48 antibody- producing strain after carrying cut selection culture and cloning the cell.</p> |
