PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoelectric converter body, which is overall superior, high in photoelectric conversion efficiency while being relatively stable in long- period use, and moreover being manufacturable at a low temperature and cost. SOLUTION: In a photoelectric converter body, a region where a conductive electric charge occurs, due chiefly to optical excitation in an internal electric potential gradient occurring between materials comprising different energy level is present, and regions 106 and 108 where an conductive electric charges are generated chiefly through optical excitation are manufactured of amorphous material containing no microcrystal phase, and at an intermediate position in an internal electric potential gradient direction of the regions 106 and 108 manufactured of amorphous material, a region 107 comprising microcrystal phase is provided. |
