<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically generate the animation of a face having expression corresponding to the content of a text to be read at the time of executing the reading of a text. SOLUTION: A syntax analyzing part 103 analyzes a sentence to be read inputted from a text inputting part 101, and a meaning analyzing part 108 and a mood information extracting part 109 decides a mood indicating the atmosphere of the sentence. A reading information generating part 104 generates the reading information of the sentence. An animation generating part 110 generates the animation of the expression of a face or the movement of a mouth by referring to a dictionary 112 for animation, based on the mode information from the mood information extracting part 109 and the reading information from the reading information generating part 104. Then, an animation displaying part 111 displays the generated animation synchronously with the voice output of the sentence by a voice outputting part 106.</p> |
