PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To segment a partial image from an original image, and to easily attain the preservation of image data indicating the segmented image and the movement of the image. SOLUTION: An original image is displayed on a display device, and an area to be segmented is designated by a mouse (a step 22). Image data in an area except for the designated area are changed to image data in a specific color. The image data with pixels in color except for the specific color and coordinate data are generated. A pair of the pixel data and the coordinate data are stored. Also, the pixel data are compressed, and the coordinate data are compressed (steps 29 and 30). The compressed pixel data and the compressed coordinate data are stored (a step 32). |
