PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a load detecting device simplified in structure with a high strength, capable of reduced in size, weight and cost with a wide range of usable loads and providing high feeling sensation, and easy to handle and regulate, and suitable for carrying. SOLUTION: This device has a detecting part comprising an exciting coil 2 and a solid rod-like magnetic material arranged in the axial center of the exciting coil 2, and it detects a load P by magnetizing the magnetic material 1 by the exciting coil 2, and working the load to the magnetic material 1 to cause an inductance change. According to this, the structure of the device can be simplified with a high strength, the size, weight and cost can be reduced with a wide range of usable loads, and the handling is facilitated so as to be suitable for carrying. Since the load P is detected by the inductance change, based on the change of permeability of the magnetic body 1, the detection is never accompanied by displacement, so that high direct feeling and feeling sensation can be provided, and a structure easy to regulate with small hysteresis and hardly magnetically affected can be adapted. |
