PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide calibrating system of a positive color proof which can be peeled and developed. SOLUTION: In this system, a positive image is produced by using a positive color calibrating material comprising a peelable cover sheet, crosslinked layer containing a polymer having phenol groups, color layer, photoadhesive layer, and if necessary, thermoplastic adhesive layer, successively deposited. In one example, this color calibrating material is laminated to a developing sheet and exposed according to an image to chemical radiation through the peelable cover sheet or the developing sheet. Then the composite material is peeled to form a color positive image on the cover sheet. The positive image is then laminated to an adhesive layer on a base body. The cover sheet is peeled to leave the positive image on the adhesive layer of the acceptor sheet. In another example, the positive image is laminated on a temporary accepting sheet having a base body and a photopolymerizable layer on the base body so that the cover sheet is stacked on the temporary acceptor sheet. Then the cover sheet is peeled from the temporary acceptor sheet to leave the positive image on the temporary acceptor sheet. Then the positive image on the temporary acceptor sheet is laminated on a permanent acceptor sheet. After the sheet is wholly exposed to light, the temporary acceptor sheet is peeled to leave the positive image on the permanent acceptor sheet. |
