A light emitting display device comprises: a first insulating substrate; a photoconverting layer formed in an inner surface of the first insulating substrate; a plasmonic color polarizer formed on the photoconverting layer; a second insulating substrate having an inner surface facing the inner surface of the first insulating substrate; and a liquid crystal layer pinched between the first and second insulating substrates. The plasmonic color polarizer transmits light of a first wavelength area, and reflects light of a second wavelength area.
