PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine a first constituent in a solution containing the first constituent and a second constituent with a higher conductivity than that of the first constituent by measuring the conductivity of the solution and the potential between two electrodes dipped into the solution and applying a specific algorithm to the measurement values of the conductivity and the potential. SOLUTION: For example, when the concentration of a silver ion in a photograph stabilization liquid is to be measured, the photograph stabilization liquid containing sodium thiosulfate and silver ion is transferred from one end 4 to a sampling container 2 and is discharged from the other end 6. A pair of induction coils 8 are arranged around the container 2 with a gap and is connected to a conductivity measuring device 10. A silver electrode 16 and a reference electrode 18 are respectively connected to a side arm 12 being provided at the container 2 and a side arm 14, and a voltmeter 20 is connected to electrodes 16 and 18. Then the output from the conductivity measuring device 10 and the voltmeter 20 is supplied to a computer 22, and the values of the inputted conductivity and potential are displayed corresponding to the concentration of silver ion passing through the container 2. |
