<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the axial size of a driving gear, and also to select an optimum gear ratio for both of engine and motor. SOLUTION: This vehicle is provided with a generator 16, a differential gear unit where a first element is connected to this generator 16, a second element to a first gear, a third element to an negine 11 respectively, and a countershaft 31 equipped with a second gear 27 installed in an output shaft 26 of a motor 25, and a third gear 32 engaging with both these first and second gears 15 and 27. In addition, the engine 11, the differential gear unit and the generator 16 are installed on a first axis, the motor 25 on a second axis in parallel with the first axis, the countershaft 31 on a third axis in parallel with both these first and second axes, and a differential gear 36 on a fourth axis in parallel with these first, second and third axes, respectively. In this connection, the third axis is surrounded by these first, second and fourth axes.</p> |
