PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely attain the corrosion inhibition of the edge sides of a suspension bridge cable and to remarkably contribute the prolongation of the endurance life the suspension bridge cable. SOLUTION: This is a device for corrosion inhibition for inhibiting the corrosion of the edge sides of a suspension bridge cable K fixed to a fixing part 14, which is composed of a transparent or translucent film material having moisture-preventability and is also composed of a film body 1 coverable the edge sides of the suspension bridge cable K in an airtight state and a dehumidifier 11 for dehumidifying the inside space 10 of the film body 1. By executing the control of the humidity in the inside space 10 of the film body 1 by the dehumidifier 11, the corrosion inhibition of the suspension bridge cable K arranged on the inside space can be attained, and the condition of the inside space 10 of the film body 1 can be confirmed from the outside with eyes.
