Each module comprises a composition of five vertical surfaces (2,3,5) placed against each other in an S formation. Each niche (7) formed by the S formation can be screened from the remaining space by a pushable vertical surface or panel. In one or both niches a horizontal work surface or surfaces (8,9) is/are provided. The work surface(s) is/are adjustable as to height and suspended on the module.
