<p>PURPOSE:To select a paper size in response to a transmission original depending on roll paper and cut paper by providing a control section selecting either the roll paper or the cut paper in response to the received originat. CONSTITUTION:Recording roll paper 9 and cut paper are contained in one paper feed cassette 38 in a facsimile equipment main body. when a B4 size transmission original is sent from an opposite party, the original width is detected from a digital signal representing the width of the transmission original, a control section 21 selects the roll paper 9 to drive a carrier roller 44. Then the size of the transmission original in the lengthwise direction is discriminated by counting a recorded line number of a page memory, a cutter 46 is driven accordingly to cut off the roll paper 9. At the reception of an A4 size original, a pick roller 48 is driven to carry the A4 cut paper to print out the data onto the cut paper.</p> |
