Disclosed are a feed composition containing silkworms with increased antibacterial peptides, and a manufacturing method thereof. The manufacturing method of a feed composition containing silkworms with increased antibacterial peptides comprises the following steps: preparing silkworms inoculated with an immunity inducer; and manufacturing the feed composition using the silkworms. The feed composition is fed to an animal., and the result of feeding shows that the feed composition has various effects such as productivity enhancement, health maintenance, inhibition of harmful enteric bacteria, immunity control, etc. The feed composition shows an equal or excellent result in comparison with a growth promoting antibiotic, and thus can be used as a novel antibiotic substitute in the future. |
