The present invention relates to a system for authenticating a user and a multi-channel electronic transaction and a method thereof. The system comprises: a generation terminal transmitting a hash value of recovery information and authentication information to an authentication management server; a recovery terminal comparing recovered information to information pre-stored in a service server to perform an authentication process; a authentication management server transmitting information associated with the hash value to the recovery terminal; and the service server providing an electronic transaction service to the recovery terminal or the generation terminal, when the authentication process is successfully completed. According to the present invention, information, inputted in an electronic transaction process, is encoded and separately stored in a user terminal and the authentication management server. Information, dispersed in the electronic transaction process, is recovered and authenticated so that the authentication process may be reinforced and security may be enhanced. |
