PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gear device including a damping mechanism capable of restricting movement of a gear in a direction of a rotating shaft without forming a step portion by making an outer diameter of the rotating shaft different at portions in an axial direction.SOLUTION: A gear device includes a gear 2 relatively rotatably mounted on a rotating shaft 1, and a ring-shaped damper cap 3 and a locking ring 4 fixed and mounted on the rotating shaft 1. The gear 2 has a cylindrical portion 5 coaxial with the rotating shaft 1 at its central portion, and has a plurality of locking projecting portions 6 directed radially inward on an inner peripheral face of the cylindrical portion 5. The locking projecting portions 6 have stopper rubbers 7 mounted while being restricted in a circumferential movement. The damper cap 3 has a plurality of projecting portions 8 projecting in a direction of the rotating shaft, on an end face opposed to the gear 2. The locking projecting portions 6 and the projecting portions 8 are respectively disposed on the same circumference, and the gear 2 and the damper cap 3 are mounted on the rotating shaft 1 in a state of positioning the projecting portions 8 respectively between the locking projecting portions 6. A locking ring 4 is fixed and mounted on the rotating shaft 1 at a position of a side opposite to the damper cap 3 through the locking projecting portions 6.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
