PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that is easily assembled, and can alleviate impact when an opening/closing member is opened without an increase in size.SOLUTION: A manual feed tray 13 openably/closably supported by an image forming apparatus body 201A is urged against the self weight of the manual feed tray 13 with a spiral spring provided in the image forming apparatus body 201A through a flexible wire 6 having one end attached to the manual feed tray 13, so as to alleviate impact when the manual feed tray 13 is opened.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
