The invention relates to a mat for producing supporting, sealing concrete structural parts by infiltration with cement mortar. Said mat preferably consists of metal parts. The invention improves upon the known mat, SIMCON since the inventive mat consists of at least two close meshed metal, plastic or plastic-coated metal grids (1) positioned at a distance from each other with metal parts arranged in between and since said grids (1) are connected by connecting elements (3) in the form of wires or similar in such a way that the metal parts are compressed between them. As a result, the mat can have a chosen thickness with a chosen volumetric content of between 1.5 and 25 volume percent, this being determined by the length of the fibres and the force exerted by the connecting elements. The inventive mat also has a smooth surface since no fibres stick out. The novel composite material is considerably more ductile and in addition, the chosen construction can be used to heat the structural parts by making use of its thermal or electrical conductivity, no special measures being necessary. |
