PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a remedy for rosacea, capable of improving failure in appearances caused by the rosacea, e.g. erythema, ruddy face, papula and pustule at a short time, and hardly causing side effects by including a microbial cell component of lactic acid bacteria as an active ingredient. SOLUTION: This remedy for rosacea contains a microbial cell component of lactic acid bacteria as an active ingredient. The lactic acid bacteria can be the bacteria belonging to one genus of Lactobacillus, Bifidobacterium, Enterococcus or the like. An extraction method of the microbial cell component is preferably the one of subjecting the microbial cells to lysing treatment by using a lytic enzyme, and further subjecting the treated microbial cells to heating treatment. An actinase a kitalase a lysozyme or the like can be used as the lytic enzyme. The heat-treating condition can be >=100 deg.C, and is preferably the temperature capable of being treated by an autoclave (110-125 deg.C). The cell wall can be destroyed by using a physical method such as an ultrasonic treatment and a French press. The daily dose thereof for an adult is preferably 0.002-0.1 g/kg as an active ingredient. |
