Apparatus for heat exchange between a heat carrying fluid and a solid material

The apparatus comprises an opening vessel (10) with a solid material for improvement of the heat transfer properties. The floor of the opening vessel is structured as a leading floor (12) with a chamber (14) whose upper wall has a number of pores. When the chamber is put under pressure, the opening vessel gas is able to seep out through the pores. The solid material and the heat carrying fluid are conducted in a vertical direction.
