A substantially chromium-free negative CCA, and toners and developers comprising the CCA. The CCA comprises one or more complexes of Formula (I): including other acceptable forms of such complex, in which: X+ is H+, Na+ or mixtures thereof; M is Fe or Co; R<1> is sulphonyl or sulphamoyl, substituted by one or more C1-4alkyl; and R<2> is carboxy or phenylcarbamoyl, optionally substituted by one or more C1-4alkyl; but when R<1> is methylsulphonyl, R<2> is not carboxy. |
