PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithography aluminum carrier to give a superior lithographic plate that almost undergoes no treatment uniformity caused by the difference of aluminum dissolving sped due to orientation difference of crystal grains so called streaks and surface quality irregularities. SOLUTION: The lithographic plate is formed such that an aluminum plate is subjected to n electrochemical surface-roughening treatment by the use of AC in a solution consisting of mainly nitric acid with a liquid temertue of 60-95 deg.C, and thereby a honeycomb pit having average diameter of diameter of 0.1-0.5μm is produced by a quantity of electricity of 1-150 c/dm<2> . Next chemical etching is conducted in an alkalic solution, or hydrolysis acid or electrolytic grinding is effected by using the aluminum plate as an anode, thus, dissolving the aluminum plate by 0.01-10 g/m<2> .
