According to an embodiment, a mobile communication system includes: a plurality of wireless transmission units which transfer downlink traffics through a wireless section; a traffic combination unit which combines the traffics received from the wireless transmission units; and a traffic distribution unit which distributes traffic and transmits the results to the wireless transmission units. According to an embodiment, a buffer management method in a mobile communication system includes a step where a wireless transmission unit, among the wireless transmission units, corresponding to a small cell base station provides the traffic distribution unit with the status information of the base station including the buffer status. By doing so, the present invention can prevent data loss in the downlink in a small cell and improve the transmission capacity effectively. |
