Flexible deforming press with non-linear ram movement

The press uses a numerically controlled parallel kinematic drive, known as a Stewart (RTM) platform. It has several, preferably six, actuators (1-6) moving a ram (7) in the working space on any guide line so that it can combine deforming processes brought about by axial ram movement with those brought about by a gyratory or tilting movement.
