<p>A composition and method of use in treating hyprothyroid patients with a sustained release form of triiodothyronine to treat mental depression, enhance mental performance, enhancing cognitive performance, and/or enhancing liver function. A sustained release form of triiodothyronine is administered in addition to an amount of thyroxine which is effective to render the patient euthyroid.</p> |
