The invention concerns a pneumatic braking servomotor actuated by a push rod (8) mobile inside a hub (6) between an inoperative position and an extreme actuating position, for which a check valve (7) is respectively closed and opened relative to a pressure source (A), said check valve (7) being separated from the source (A) by a purifying filter (9). The invention is characterised in that the filter (9) consists of a compressible material and has a minimal volume, to which it is compressed, when the push rod (8) is its inoperative position, and a maximum volume, to which it is expanded, when the push rod (8) is in its extreme actuating position.
