Method and plant for producing sheathed continuously cast products

The method concerns continuous strip casting with use of an oscillating or accompanying mould (5). In particular, it concerns production of encased material by casting of a metal melt between a metal casing (4) which continuously accompanies the melt at the casting speed. The solidus temperature of the metal casing is always lower than or equal to the solidus temperature of the melt. The casing material (4) moves at least along one mould surface.
