The leg support structure, for a patient in a hospital bed, has two side members (1a,1b) linked together by at least four struts in release mountings (3) to give each an individual height setting. The two upper struts are carriers for the support plate (5). The support plate has a mounting with angular movements at the struts, in a U-shape round the struts from above.
