Artillery weapon alignment monitoring method for military exercise

The weapon alignment monitoring method uses a global positioning system for checking the actual alignment of the weapon compared with a given firing window, for indicating an azimuth and elevation error. The weapon may have attached antenna elements (7.1-7.4) coupled to a global positioning receiver. An Independent claim for a device for monitoring the alignment of an artillery weapon is also included.
