A sheet electrode clip capable of performing an easy holding operation of a sheet electrode and holding it positively with fewer parts and an easy assembling work, wherein a base plate (10) having a support shaft (13) is allowed to engage a movable plate (20) having an oblong hole (25) engaging the support shaft (13) and a U-shaped plate spring (30) made of a conductive material is inserted between the base plate (10) and the movable plate (20). The base plate and the movable plate are kept released at their front sides and a sheet electrode (50) is inserted into a portion on the released sides to rotate the movable plate (20) in a closing direction against the energizing force of the plate spring (30), thereby holding the sheet electrode (50) positively. When the movable plate (20) is moved forward along the oblong hole (25) with the sheet electrode held, a projection (14) and a notched groove (26) engage each other to fixedly lock the movable plate (20) to the base plate (10) and keep the holding.
