The valve thruster (12) in the closed position locates on the valve body (15) in a sealed manner. A heating element (3) is provided, which heats the liquid fuel. It is formed as an incandescent rod and the valve thruster has a recess (21), in which the incandescent rod is at least partly arranged. The recess is formed as a blind hole at the end of the valve thruster turned away from the valve aperture.
