The invention concerns an element for fixing (10) a dispensing member (20), such as a pump or a valve, on the neck (31) of a container (30) containing a product to be dispensed, with an intervening neck joint (1) comprising an inner edge (2) and an outer edge (3) to ensure tightness at the container (30) neck (31), said fixing element (10) comprising a receiving part (11) for receiving said dispensing member (20) and a fixing part (12) to be fixed to said container (30) neck (31). The invention is characterised in that said fixing element further comprises a maintaining part (13) for receiving and maintaining said neck joint (1), said annular joint (1) being maintained in said maintaining part (13) of the fixing element (10) solely at the inner edge (2) thereof.
