Piezoelectric actuator for ink jet print head, facsimile machines and copiers

A green sheet has electrode paste applied to its surface to form four internal electrodes. After sintering, several grooves are sandblasted to form drive columns. The cross-sectional shape of the drive columns is tapered, so that it spreads out in the depth direction of the grooves. An Independent claim is included for a method of manufacturing the piezoelectric actuator.
