EPOXY RESIN HARDENER AND ONE-PACK TYPE EPOXY RESIN COMPOSITION

An epoxy resin hardener effective as the hardener component of a one-pack epoxy resin composition which is curable with moisture at ordinary temperature, cures at a high rate, and has excellent storage stability. The hardener comprises a compound (A) which has at least one backbone selected from the group consisting of polyethers, polyvinyls, polyesters, polyamides, polycarbonates, novolaks, and hydrocarbons optionally having hydroxyl groups in side chains and has, in side chains or at the ends, at least two heterocyclic groups (Z) represented by general formula (1) wherein R represents linear or branched C2-10 alkylene optionally containing -O- and/or -S-; R<1> and R<2> are the same or different and each represents hydrogen, linear or branched C1-6 alkyl or alkenyl, or C6-8 aryl or aralkyl, or R<1> and R<2> form a C5-7 cycloalkyl ring in cooperation with the carbon atom bonded thereto; and R<3> represents linear or branched C1-10 alkylene.
