摘要 <p>The invention pertains to a process and device for teaching a program-controlled robot (1) with respect to work or path points (7, 8) on a workpiece (5). The work or path points (7, 8) are determined with a hand-held device (12) that has one or more position reporters (15). The location of the latter is recorded by an external mapping camera (10) and stored. The position of the work or path points (7, 8) is calculated from the location of the position reporters (15) and passed into the control unit (2) of the robot. A calibration operation can be done before or after the teaching. The hand-held device is held in a position on the workpiece (5) corresponding to the orientation of the tool and for this purpose preferably has a caliper-like design.</p>
