Swing Adsorption (PSA) process for sepn. of nitrogen from a nitrogen out of the mixt. into a mass of adsorbent with cyclic variations in press. consisting of at least one phase of adsorption of nitrogen carried out at high press. and at least one phase of desorption of nitrogen carried out at low press., the mass of adsorbent being disposed in a rotary adsorber and at least 50 % of the mass of adsorbent being comprised of a zeolite that is more than 50 % lithium-exchanged.
