PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal combustion engine capable of shortening length in a cam axial direction of a cylinder head, and downsizing the internal combustion engine.SOLUTION: In an engine 1, a locker arm 19 and a plunger 52 of a fuel pump 41 are disposed so as to sandwich an intake cam shaft 13. A bolt 76C is installed separately from bearing supporting portions 33A and 72a in an axial direction of the intake cam shaft 13. In an upper surface view of a cylinder head 11, so as to superimpose a second side wall portion 72 of a fuel pump attaching bracket 42 on the bearing supporting portions 33A and 72a, the fuel pump attaching bracket 42 is attached to the cylinder head 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
