PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the designing of internal circuits by reducing the number of data output pins of data interface parts drastically to simplify connection lines. SOLUTION: In the high section of an input-output mode control signal SLCT, input selection control signals INS1-INS107 are supplied to upper temporary storage parts 38 of upper and lower data interface parts 32, 34 through an AND gate G2 and pixel data to be provided from a memory are stored in the parts and, at the same time, output selection control signals OTS1-OTS32 are supplied to lower temporary storage parts 40 of upper and lower data interface parts 32, 34 through an AND gate G4 and the data stored in the parts are outputted by 40 bits over 32 times. Respective driving parts load alternately data equivalent to one line of the odd numbered data of a first group and the even numbered data of a second group by 40 bits 32 times from a data interface part 14c to drive electrodes equivalent to one line. Thus, the number of lines is reduced to the half as compared with the case of loading data by 80 bits. |
