Systems and methods of calibrating listening devices are disclosed herein. In one embodiment, a method of calibrating a listening device (e.g., a headset) includes determining a head related transfer function (HRTF) of a more than one part of the user's anatomy. The resulting HRTFs are combined to form a composite HRTF.
