The invention relates to a metal-sheet part (20), which is produced from an initial metal sheet (27) and has at least one side edge (32), which extends along the grain boundaries of the material of the initial metal sheet (27). The invention further relates to a method and to a device for the notching- or scoring- or incision-induced splitting or fracturing of the initial metal sheet (27) at a splitting point (28). The initial metal sheet is clamped adjacently to the splitting point (28) by means of a first segment (30). On the side of the splitting point (28) opposite the first segment (30), there is a second segment (31) of the initial metal sheet (27), which is loaded in order to produce a bending moment (M) about a bending axis (B) at the splitting point (28) and/or a tensile force (Z) directed away from the splitting point (28). By producing a notch having a limited depth and/or producing a shear stress at the splitting point (28), the crack formation at the splitting point (28) is initiated and the second segment (31) is split from the first segment (30) along the grain boundary of the material of the initial metal sheet (27). |
